Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus

One of the things I really love about the Android Market and the Android OS in general is the sheer amount of freedom both developers and consumers can feel from it. This is shown perfectly through Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus.

Being on Android, it is available on a huge range of platforms and the fact that the developers have the ability to design much more freely also adds a great deal. Whilst the Apple App Store can sometimes be somewhat stricter with the apps it allows on, Android can allow greater creativity in the applications that are developed and that really shows here with Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus.
The first thing that anyone will notice is the sheer immersion of the game and the fact that the graphics are of incredibly high quality especially in HD.

It is truly stunning how many applications on tablets and phones nowadays are able to compete with console platforms and on so many different levels. The story is gripping, the graphics is beautiful and the gameplay is absorbing.  Everything that you could want for a console FPS but with the added bonus of portability and a much lower price tag.
The games like these that show that console developers need to step up their game (no pun intended). The fact that this is a sequel to a game shows just how inspiring it is and being primarily online either with friends or strangers, it is great for an afternoon of gaming.
